Ah my rotting blog…
I r a Kay eLle Lang been staying here in turtle island for a little more than a decade… But still I m still very blur of wat's good to eat on this island… … My wife often complain that I don't bring her to anyplace to makan … cuz well she enjoys food… Not that she is a glutton, but she likes to dine la.. u got my point…

Ｔｈｅｎ ＯＮＥ ｆｉｎｅ ｗｅｅｋｅｎｄ ａｆｔｅｒ ａ ＶＥＲＹ rainy saturday on a sunday… . I dunno y i was browsing these food blogs… and found.. WOW.. penang sure has lotsa places to eat.. one of the foodblogs i stumbled upon was… this link… Talk about 14" of OILＦＲＩＥＤGHOST … I was like elated when i first saw it and shouted to my wife.. I ＦＯＵＮＤ IT… hahahaha..comes complete with a GPS ｌｏｃａｔｉｏｎ ｅｖｅｎ．．．（ｗｈｉｃｈ ｗａｓ ａｂｏｕｔ ｈａｌｆ ａ ｋｍ ｏｆｆ but good enuf la)
Anyhow… me and my wife decided to go find this place ONE of these days…. well, this evening… we were like.. let's see where the place it…. Armed with my GPS phone we set off to find this mythical 14" GHOST…
Following the GPS, we drove to Paya Terobong… very straight forward.. pass the permata swimming pool junction… and right next to the LOU FU ZI bakkutteh.. we saw it… the same cap dude frying the GHOST in the foodblog was there… hahhaa. YES YES YES…. well guys… those ghosts… WEEEEERE LONG… <makes sinanju look punny… put even mutombo to shame man>

Thursday evening, i started cutting away at the runners…
cmos sinanju build is too exciting for me not to follow suit…
Friday night.. if found that i did have some paint left.. and with some blue tag and toothpix…. i started on the blacks.. the night before i already spray the yellas … as soon as the blacks dries tomorrow i shall detail the blacks…
I don't think i will spray other parts already.. at least not the reds… I will ARTLINE marker the red nubs… looks pretty ok….
Just showing some of the pix up here of the progress so far.. I think i still need gray paint (or top coat on gray parts)… i think i m gonna buy that gunmetal spray.. for the guns…

My wife's younger brother and his girlfriend visited us on the weekend…
So I am playing host. So where to take them for dinner…
Wife said japanese, so I thought may be give Azuma another go… me and my wife went there b4 once.. and the impression was.. BO TAT … But nvm la.. give it another chance… and well, I have to say.. shudda went to sushi king….
Here's the Order slip… As u can see 4 of us ordered… 2 Udons one unagi set and one sashimi set… at 7:29pm. (shud be earlier since the waitress takes our order than only goes print the thing out)
My Sashimi set came pretty fast… cuz.. well, Sashimi… NO COOKING REQUIRED hahahahaha…
so I was munching away… I finished? all the other dishes still belum datang… Goodness gracious… so some waiting ensues for me… I think the waitresses didn't notice until she clear my empty dish from my seat… only then they notice that , table of four… One guy finished the food and the toher 3 just watch me chug down the food… not goood…
Waiting Eagerly for Half an hour.. the Unagi set arrived…
Comment….. for a price 50% more expensive than sushi king, we were expecting the unagi to be AT LEAST sama size… nope… Smaller and dryer… more points deducted… and Sushi king even have YAKULT hahahah
then another 10 minutes after that one of the Udons came … add that to the half hour.. errmm 40 min?
and another errr ok.. about 7mins? the other UDON came No wait.. IS THIS UDON?

nevermind.. we done with the food… then about to leave… then notice the table next to us also wanna cabut di.. got call back.. Y ah? got desert wor.. OOOOOK… desert.. ice cream… my table also wanted to leave.. grab the bill and everything.. but say got ice cream also… ok lo.. free one ma
after agreeing to munch their free desert.. then i realize.. shit.. dunno need to wait how long.. … another 7minutes passed i think.. hhahaa.. MELTED ice cream arrived…
Green tea flavor…a bit bitter.. macam watermelon powder ice cream…
OK.. i definitely not going back to AZUMA anymore.. if any AZUMA restaurant management ppl read this.. What's ur problem? Not enuf ppl in kitchen? anyhow.. I go back sushi king lo.. kekekek

I have had the lazy traveller lens 18-200 for sometime now. this is not the sharpest lens.. nor it is the best in anything… but it serves its purpose for this lazy photographer haahhaa.. cover all the focal ranges.. (except the ultra wide… ahhhaahha.. that one has to wait somemore
there is one inherent problem with this lens that i have lived with all this time and never bothered to remedy it.
i dunno y today i go surf the forums and found this neat little solution.. yes, this tightens the zoom ring … err.. but no more creeping
all u long zoom all around lens user out there.. u can try this.. hahhehehe.. it works for me.

A year ago I bought this from dell, slim nice.. cool…
i didn't get a graphic card for it… so can't play games with it.. which is just fine… until recently.. after i got the FullHD LCD ….

native D-sub vga out can't Detect the TV… bummer…
Fine, so get a graphic card… but wait… most cards in the market are FULL SIZE… no low profile ones… or is there?
After some searching.. for low cost grafix card that can pump HD… there are low profile cards… and the Radeon 4550 is it… BUT… most has a full size backplate rather than the low profile plate… i was looking at the gigabyte one… which added heatsink to make the card fullsize… pcb is low profile but back plate besar :p
BUMMER AGAIN…
But wait….. LOWYAT, the heaven for geeks like me… has this baby… Sapphire 4550… comes with the low profile plate.. voila.. muaahahahaha

then i add the DVI to HDMI dongle.. Voila once again… HDMI READY Dell 530 next week when i get back to penang.. HOPEFULLY… (dongle cost RM 25)
And then there is the xmas present from Amazon via a good friend's mailing address and some visiting ex-colleagues to SJ…. My RM 51 bux Mini HDMI to HDMI cable has gone thru a successful test for my D90 hdmi output.. hahahaha
From what i can tell, playback with the hdmi attach is great if i dont' giggle the cable too much..
it works with liveview too.. but.. heheh. i think the socket not so solid…
don't think it's the cable problem.. it is probably the socket…
shud i even bother sending it back to nikon? it is a small problem only mer… hahaha
